| Abstract | During this presentation, we will illustrate how insights from matrix-free matrix completion can be used to solve problems in (on- and off-the-grid) missing trace interpolation and time-jittered (simultaneous) marine acquisition. In particular, we will demonstrate the importance of data organization to favor recovery by rank minimization and the use of deterministic spectral properties to predict the recovery. We also make make comparisons between wavefield reconstructions based on transform-domain sparsity promotion and matrix completion. |
