About me: I joined the SLIM group in July 2011 as a Research Assistant. Before joining the SLIM group, I worked in Mexico for 4 years in the Industrial Mathematics Department at CIMAT (Research Center in Mathematics). My principle activities were management and development of transfer technology projects for industrial applications in the areas of scientific computing, numerical methods, optimization, and information systems as well as the organization and direction of Industrial Problem Solving Workshops to provide channels to connects Mexican Industries with Academia.
