Research Area: My research at SLIM will be focused on seismic interferometry and large-scale stochastic optimization.
About me: I had my bachelor at the Department of Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete (Greece), I had my master at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Athens and my thesis was on the Finite Element Method for the Wave equation in 2D (implemented in MatLab). My PhD was awarded ny the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete and the topic of my thesis was on seismic interferometry using noise signals.
